About the Journal
The NLIU-CRIL Journal of International Law & Policy is an annual, double-blind peer-reviewed publication that explores diverse and contemporary issues in international law and policy. The Journal invites original and unpublished works from students, academicians, researchers, and practitioners in the field.

Themes
Submissions are welcome on any topic within the broad field of international law and policy, including but not limited to public international law, human rights law, private international law, international trade law, international commercial law, international criminal law, and international investment law.

Categories of Submissions
Long Articles: 5,000 – 8,000 words
Short Articles: 3,000 – 5,000 words
Case Notes / Case Studies: 1,500 – 3,000 words
Book Reviews: 1,000 – 2,000 words

Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of two authors. All manuscripts must be original and unpublished. Any form of plagiarism, including that of ideas, will lead to direct rejection.

Review Process
All manuscripts undergo a four-stage review process:
Stage 1: Technical Review through Turnitin (manuscripts with more than 40% plagiarism are rejected)
Manual Technical Review (manuscripts with more than 10% plagiarism or 5 instances of plagiarism are rejected)
Stage 2: Content Review I
Stage 3: Content Review II
Stage 4: Peer Review

Formatting Guidelines
Each submission must include an abstract of 250–300 words at the beginning, highlighting the structure and essence of the manuscript. The abstract is not included in the word limit.

Title: Times New Roman, Bold, Font Size 16, 1.5 line spacing, all caps, center aligned
Main Body: Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 line spacing, justified, 1-inch margins on all sides
Footnotes: Times New Roman, Font Size 10, 1.0 line spacing, justified alignment
Citation Style: Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA, 4th Edition)
Speaking or substantive footnotes should be avoided. Endnotes and hyperlinks are not accepted.
